Artist Biography

I’m an Aotearoa-born artist (she/her) living and working on unceded Dharug and Gundungurra land. I use performance, photography, textiles, and video to enquire into materiality, trace, transience, and the emotional registers of presence and absence, distance and intimacy within public and private states. My work is informed by a framework of feminist and political critique that has addressed women’s unpaid labour and interrogated the art market as a primary value system. Since early 2024, my work has been contextualised within the anti-genocide protest movement and can be characterised as visual/textual activism.
