I use textiles, performance, photography, and video for ongoing enquiry into the emotional registers of distance and intimacy, public and private states, materiality, trace, and transience. My work’s social context is informed by a framework of feminist and political critique, acknowledging women’s unpaid labour and declining the market as a primary value system.
My exhibition practice is located in non-profit and artist-run initiatives. I’m due to be awarded a PhD in visual art at Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney in early 2019. I’m a contract lecturer at University of New South Wales Art and Design and write regularly for Art Guide Australia.
